The Magic House
The exhibit will highlight Italy’s world-renowned architecture, art, and food and pay tribute to its significant historical contributions while showing what life is like for children in Italy today.
Families will learn to make pasta in a traditional Italian home, serve delicious treats in a gelateria, create a mosaic masterpiece, learn some Italian, and find out why the city of Rome is like lasagna. Plus, capture your travels with a photo on a Vespa in a piazza.

In 1945, a diary was discovered in the liberated Auschwitz-Birkenau Camp. It was written by a 14-year-old Jewish girl named Rywka Lipszyc and documented her life in the ?ódz Ghetto between October 1943 and April 1944. Rywka’s diary tells the story of a young girl who lost her siblings and parents but never lost hope or her faith.

As a young child growing up in a once flourishing town in the Rust Belt of Ohio, Laine Bachman always had an affinity towards drawing and painting. Her parents encouraged her creativity from the beginning which led to her attending art school in nearby Columbus, receiving a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design in painting in 1997. Often inspired by myths and folklore, Bachman infuses the worlds she creates with archetypal imagery, underlying themes, and meticulous detail.

By inventing new ways of casting and manipulating ultra-thin porcelain sheets she can create impossible objects of curiosity, beautiful objects to provide focus, retreat and pause in an overwhelming world. Using meticulous detail, familiar forms and uncertain function she coaxes her audience to draw near, closing the physical gap between viewer and object.

All cruises include a friendly, knowledgeable captain who takes you to the best sightseeing spots in the area.
Once it’s time for the sun to go down, the captain stops at the perfect location to enjoy the sunset.
The sunset cruise takes place on the Mahalo, the newest and largest of the PonTiki fleet. This boat is a floating event venue! Mahalo has all of the PonTiki amenities and fun, including a full bathroom and couches, and can comfortably accommodate up to 65 guests.

Tony Lewis, a drummer from the South Bronx, New York, has collaborated with renowned musicians such as Little Richard, Sting, and Cyndi Lauper. He has also worked with Rakim, Sam Moore (of Sam & Dave), Michael Hill's Blues Mob, and Craig Harris. His defining moment in choosing to play the drums came from watching cats and listening. His father used to play drums and would bring home Down Beat magazine.

Adventure Aquarium
As part of an ongoing effort to create an inclusive experience for those with sensory challenges, Adventure Aquarium hosts special sensory-inclusive hours called Sensory Sundays, which take place on the third Sunday of every month from 9:30-10:30 a.m. (the Aquarium’s first hour of operation).
The Aquarium will lower the music, soften the lights, and reduce the crowds, all in an effort to create the most enjoyable experience for guests with autism or other sensory needs and their families.

With over 40 CDs as a leader or co-leader, Steve is a featured artist on more than 100 other releases. He runs workshops around the world and is a teaching artist in the NYC public school system focusing on special needs children.
